Petra Haller is a German-born London-based independent dance artist and tap dancer who focuses on using her feet as a 'percussive instrument' in jazz and improvised music. She was the first tap dancer to be named in the UK's Jazzwise magazine's 'Rising Jazz Artists' section on 'Who to Look Out for' in 2020.

Petra and Meg have been working together since 2019, performing as free improvisers around the UK. This is Petra’s debut album and is a suite of pieces which are predominantly improvised (with some pre-planned compositional ideas for several of the tracks) and is a dedication to the teachers and people who have been influential in her life. It was recorded at the beautiful Ocean Sound Studios (in Giske, Norway) next to the Atlantic, and was released on 25th May for International Tap Day.
