Meg Morley

Since performing her first improvised score for silent film in 2016, Meg has regularly performed at various international film festivals (Il Cinema Ritrovato, Le Giornate del Cinema Muto, Netherlands Silent Film Festival, Internationale Bonner Stummfilmtage) and received numerous commissions, including solo piano scores from Kino Lorber (Pioneers: First Women Filmmakers project, Alfred Hitchcock’s The Ring, Ernst Lubitsch’s The Doll - all on DVD release), collaborative live scores from Birmingham’s Flatpack Festival (with British trio Haiku Salut for People on Sunday, and duo project with silent film musician Stephen Horne for Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde) and a live trio score from the British Film Institute for the Marvelous Mabel Normand project which involved scoring for, recording (for DVD) and touring the UK with the Meg Morley Trio.
