Born in Melbourne, Australia, Meg began her studies as a classical pianist at a very early age with guidance from her mother who was a professional singer. Since then her passion as a musician to find an individual voice has taken her from the rigors of study in Australia to the performance arenas of London.

Meg completed a Masters degree at the University of Southern Queensland, during which time she was awarded Distinctions for the AMEB's A.Mus.A and L.Mus.A diplomas, won national competitions and bursaries, performed with a professional Australian orchestra, and was fortunate to be tutored by Australian pianist Wendy Lorenz and British pianist and Debussy expert Roy Howat. She completed graduate studies in composition at the Queensland Conservatorium studying with composer Gerard Brophy.

Meg moved to Melbourne to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Jazz Improvisation at the Victorian College of Arts studying with Dr Timothy Stevens and multiple ARIA Award winner Andrea Keller. She began teaching piano and improvisation at Melbourne Girls Grammar and Firbank Grammar whilst performing and playing for the Australian Ballet, and the Australian Ballet School, until her move to London in 2010.

After arriving in London she quickly secured a full time position as pianist with the English National Ballet School and performed with some of the UK's top musicians (from rising talents like Louise Bartle from Bloc Party to established stars such as Tina May). She has worked with Matthew Bourne's New Adventures, Rambert Dance Company at Sadler's Wells, the Royal Ballet School and has regularly accompanied class at the world famous Pineapple Studios in Covent Garden. As a member of the UK's premier samba band, Rhythms of the City, she has performed at the O2 Brixton Academy and toured with them in Poland for SambaFest 2012.

Recently Meg joined the London Contemporary Ballet Theatre as Resident Musician (pianist-composer) and collaborated with pianist Al MacSween (from Kefaya) to create and perform a 30-minute composition for the company's world premiere performance of Human? Meg works closely with the company's director, Rose Alice, giving contemporary ballet worskhops to professional dancers working in the UK.

In January 2016 Meg became a resident pianist at The Kennington Bioscope, an internationally acclaimed silent film organisation supported by Academy Award winner Kevin Brownlow at The London Cinema Museum. She also plays at various UK film festivals (e.g. Birmingham's Flatpack Festival, Borderlines) and was invited to partake in the prestigious 2016 Aspirant Pianist Masterclass Programme organised by the world's most celebrated silent film festival Le Giornate del cinema muto in Pordenone Italy. 

Meg recorded an album with Mia Panboola in 2014 which was well received and featured many of her own compositions. In March 2017 she released her debut solo piano EP Through The Hours and followed it up in July with a new trio album of original compositions featuring Richard Sadler on double bass and Emiliano Caroselli on drums, to be launched later this year.
